The Life We Have – Premier and 5k

Join us on Sunday, March 1st for a community run, brunch and film screening celebrating the healing power of movement. Meet at REI Denver at 8:30am for an all paces, all abilities 5K hosted by Latinos Run Denver, then head down the block to The Outpost on Platte for brunch and a screening of The Life We Have followed by a dynamic panel with local advocates. Community partners First Descents and The Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation will be onsite with resources for thrivers and caregivers.  
Produced by REI Co-Op Studios and Seattle-based production company Wondercamp, The Life We Have follows one man’s extraordinary 20-year journey of vowing to run every day until he passes away after receiving a stage four cancer diagnosis. The 24-minute documentary is an inspiring reflection of the power of community, resilience, and the choice to live with beautiful effort.
